Melting Pop is a project of creative mashups, in which apparently discordant pop-culture elements become homogeneous in their names and images. Melting Pop draws directly from the infinite repertoire of pop culture images: famous and fantasy characters, superheroes and cartoons, pop icons and everyday objects. As they are mixed, they get into new forms, well-known and misleading at the same time.

Melting Pop is a two step experimental path, in which the visual and text coexist and support each other.
The first step was to combine two words between them to create a new one. So 24 original, neologic, and very globish portmanteau were born.

The second step was to visualize the portmanteau, mixing images and creating 24 characters with a new identity.
